Wayne County Public School system is one of the largest in southeastern North Carolina! We serve over 19,200 students in kindergarten through 12th grade and our goal is to provide a quality education for each student. Children entering kindergarten or first grade or transferring to the Wayne County Public School System will need the following:
- A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate
- Immunization Records
- Proof of address
- Social Security card
- Health form that must be filled out by your doctor
